Allconnect and Gas South Celebrate 100,000 Transfers, Donate Meals to Children in Need

November 12, 2020 –Allconnect, a leader in sales, marketing and customer engagement solutions for energy companies, recently celebrated the transfer of100,000 calls by making a $1,000 donation to Norton Park Elementary School to purchase Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for the families of students. Norton Park, a Title 1 school in Cobb County that serves a large Latino population, has partnered with Gas South for more than five years. The COVID-19 pandemic has deeply affected communities, and sources cite that the Latino community has been hit especially hard.

“We are very excited to celebrate this milestone with Gas South by giving back to the local community and translating a business win into something positive,” said Kim Shumway, Allconnect EVP. “It’s a true reflection of our partnership that both Allconnect and Gas South are so committed to serving the communities where we live, work and play. I hope all the families of Norton Park have an especially happy and healthy holiday season this year.”

Since 2007, Allconnect has provided Gas South customers with a one-stop resource to receive personalized assistance with the selection and purchase of home services. The partnership with Allconnect provides Gas South customers with a value-added service not available from any other natural gas provider in Georgia. Gas South customers who call to transfer or establish service have the opportunity to speak with an Allconnect home service advisor, who reviews the numerous home services options specifically available at their new address, including satellite TV, cable TV, Internet, phone and home security systems. After discussing the plans, promotions and bundles available, the advisor then takes the order and schedules installation, providing end-to-end service.

“One of the most important decisions consumers make when moving into a new home is selecting a natural gas provider, so we are really grateful for the partnership with Allconnect that has allowed us to reach this significant milestone,” said Kamden Robb, senior manager of sales channels for Gas South. “Given our company’s commitment to ‘Be a Fuel for Good,’ we are also thrilled Allconnect has marked this moment by making a meaningful impact for children and their families this holiday season.”
